I’ve seen this prompt for several days and kept coming back. At first, I decided to ignore it because I didn’t believe there could be a perfect space for such things -at least for me. (A near future post I’m already working on will explain why)
Then today I woke up and the solution popped into my brain. I believe my perfect space wouldn’t be a static geographic location or space enclosed by walls. For me, the perfect space, if there is one for me at all, would be a skoolie – a decommissioned school bus converted into a RV. I could build it to my specifications so it would always feel like home.
Sell everything. Go on the road and see the natural beauty of the US while it still mostly resembles what I grew up knowing. Something tells me over the next decade, this country will not be suitable for continuous travel -or living as a gypsy. Power and control comes first. All others can fight for their pecking order.
Oooh the skoolie is super. Are you planning a trip all over the US?

I was – for many months. Now, not so much. Maybe one day.
