In the simplest of terms -Teachers are like leaders. The greats do what they love. The light emanating from their passion is unyielding and pierces the foggiest of nights. Students/employees willingly follow and listen because they are inspired to be like their mentor. Together they rise.
Dictators mistake their slaves’ presence as fealty, when in reality their continued presence is a desire to witness a violent end to their leader’s control.
Sadly, the dictators-to-teachers ratio is obscenely imbalanced. Teachers find themselves crushed under the boot of those in power -wisdom leads to independence. Intelligent, independent, well-informed slaves are a clear and present danger to the rich man’s coffers.
From my point of view, dictators will burn the world to the ground before they allow the slaves to run free.
