WP Chain Game

Thanks to Iba for wrangling me into this. (/sarcasm)

How Did You Come Up With Your Blog Name?
The inspiration was two-fold. Off The Rails was inspired by a train adventure I had planned to take with the ultimate goal of ending my life at some point during the trip – once I reached the West Coast. I had never seen a sunset on the Pacific Ocean so that was going to be my final destination. As the sun went down on this world, my life would follow.

Oddly enough, it was the madness of the train trip that frustrated me to the point of refusing to go out while going through such a shit show produced by the rail company.

The second reason was because it was the perfect visual description of the life I’ve led – a complete train wreck.

If Your Blog Was A Person (Fictional or Real), Who Would It Be?
Willy Wonka and his chocolate factory. Funny yet slightly insane with a little sweetness added in. Not recommended for children.

What Helps You Create New Content When You Need Inspiration?
This answer can vary greatly. Because of how my mind works, sometimes it’s impossible to find inspiration. It’s like my cat. I can never find her when I go looking. I have to wait for her to come to me and that only happens when she’s ready for her monkey to dance and entertain her.

Is There Anyone You’d Like to Collaborate With?
Nostradamus. If only to ask him to be a LOT more clear with his predictions. After that, it would be Edgar Cayce so that I better understand how his gift worked and how I might harness my own.

Is There Anything More You Wish You Had or Would Like to Learn as a Blogger?
If you’re wishing, you’re not doing and that’s the only way to get to where you want to be -not that I do either. As for learning, I’m not sure what I’m even looking for. I love writing when inspired, but I rarely enjoy reading due to my problem with maintaining attention as well as my inability to compensate for my lack of focus by speed reading.

Do You Have a Specific Style of Blogging?
If random is a style, then yes. I write as I think and speak – sometimes with big $5 words, other times with the more casual wooden nickel ones.

With me, what you see is what you get. You also get what you don’t see and had no idea even existed until it was too late and we’re already friends and don’t want the guilt of slowly backing away… You’re welcome.

I’d tag someone else for these shenanigans but I do not know anyone here beyond the blogging machine known as Iba. This leg of her writing dynasty dies here with me… at 3:33am… in an uncomfortable faux suede recliner… managing an upset stomach from too much Taco Bell… while my cat stares at me from her perch in the same way a guard monitors their inmates.
