What strategies do I use to maintain my health and well-being?
Drugs, distractions, and denial until I can figure out how to either overcome the obstacle or securely compartmentalize it for later analysis.
Sorry if you were expecting some enlightening response that was full of inspiring self help tips and personal encouragement. I’m not here to pretend I’m someone I’m not. At best, I am a wandering derecho.
Strategies work… Until something comes along and obliterates them. That’s where survival instincts and coping mechanisms join the conversation. They’re not perfect, but they’ve kept my head above water my whole life.
