After what I’ve been through…
After what I’ve seen those around me go through…
And after what I have witnessed…
I have realized that worrying for the future is futile and a waste of resources.
I have been personally connected to three different deaths in the past couple of months – All for various reasons. All at different levels of importance to me… None were avoidable.
I survived a head-on collision that should have, by all rights, killed me – yet I came away with my life and all my limbs intact. Someone else who had the same type of accident, in the same manner, wasn’t nearly as fortunate. He didn’t die (that I’m aware of) but his injuries were significantly more severe.
Our government is so incredibly broken and corrupt that they are willing to harm and even kill its citizens in order to gain power – as well as own most of the major forms of communications in an effort to control the narrative.
The internet is mostly full of lies -misinformation for profit, misinformation for control, people who just want the world to burn, the ignorant, and the uneducated. Let’s also not forget the never-ending scams.
The world isn’t fair and it never will be; at least not in our lifetime.
So… control is a facade -at least control of the outside world and the lies that make it up. Because of this, I have come to realize it’s useless to burn energy worrying about such things.
Life will either work out… Or it won’t. While there are certain things I can do for myself and those in my immediate circle to help; in the grand scheme of things, I am merely a droplet of rain within the rain storm.
Instead of worrying about everything else, I choose to focus on survival and adaptability -which is how I’ve already lived most of my life anyway.
If you’ve read this far, I would encourage you to do the same. Worrying about everything outside your immediate touch only drains you of the resources you need to care for yourself and your loved ones properly. There will always be distractions.
Choose what your burn your life-force on wisely.
