This one’s easy. Although she was influential, sadly, I never did anything with the spark she ignited.
Mrs. Freeman was my high school drama teacher. Her cheer and uplifting personality was infectious to anyone within her proximity. She is small in stature, but gloriously enormous on personality.
Drama was only for one semester and was more than 30 years ago, but I never forgot her and continued to check up on her over the years to see how she was doing. Not to my surprise, she has always maintained a connection to theater productions of some sort – influencing today’s youth.
I established contact with her several weeks ago and discovered she’s just as bright and full of life as she was back then. A truly lovely person and an invaluable asset to the theater community.
