I’d remove the ability for former-news-now-propaganda stations to air manipulated information. Politicians and political agendas are dividing the population and destroying our nation -all for their benefit, not ours.
They inflame fears and prejudices in order to control voting and their own agendas. We fight. They gain control while amassing wealth and power while we battle for toilet paper.
We are all equally worthless in their eyes, yet because they know how to lie well and their lies fit a certain demographic’s agenda, they’ll get the vote.
I couldn’t care less which political party you’re affiliated with. Wrong is wrong and burning the country to the ground only hurts those of us who live in the ash -not the ones safely behind guarded doors thousands of miles away who literally pay for chaos to happen.
And remember – The politicians don’t agree with you. You agree with them. Just because they are on your side today, it doesn’t mean they will be tomorrow. Their loyalty lies where the votes are. Look at their track record of changing sides of a topic when it suits their agenda. The politician you vote into office today could be the very one who puts you in the welfare line tomorrow.
I normally stay away from political statements of opinion due to how polarizing they can be for no other reason that one person disagreeing with another – but now more than ever, we need to take back control. The wrong people have had the keys to the castle for far too long.
And absolute power corrupts absolutely.
