After my recent trip across the country, I’d have to say that my dream home would be a modest sized A-frame in the mountains of Colorado or Arizona.
I love the open design of the A-frame and the crisp mountain air. After spending time in Sedona, Arizona, and Granby, Colorado, I realize that even with the additional discomfort in my bones and joints generated by the cold temps, just being surrounded with so much natural beauty would make the pain worth it.
The house itself would have a simple construction. Living area on the ground level made and the second floor would be a loft style bedroom. A nice balcony with a fire pit and scenic overlook. Sit outside, take in the snowfall, and drink hot chocolate in front of the fire while watching nature exist without the interference of mankind.
That’s all I believe myself and my s/o would need for ourselves and our two cats.
