Here’s today’s Amtrak puzzle for you.
Todd buys Amtrak’s Rail Pass that grants him 10 segments of travel. Due to the various sh#t shows, Todd manages to make it to 40% of his planned destinations only using 3 of his 10 segments, but having 10 of 10 total segments canceled.
As of today, how was Todd able to have 13 segments used or canceled and yet have 7 segments remaining, for a total of 20 segments when all he purchased was 10 to begin with?
Something in my profile became corrupted. As of this morning, all remaining 6 cities on my route were canceled. Add that to the 4 previous canceled segments and you have 10. I’ve only ridden on the train 3 times. (MT to WA, OR to CA, and TX to AR)
I sit in Little Rock today trying to re-plan the remaining 7 segments of my remaining travel. (7 because they did not refund the LA to SA segment after they canceled it on me. I had to ask for it). And because my profile was corrupted, I have to call Amtrak and have them add segments manually because my profile had to be rebuilt in their system and I no longer have access to it.
Yes. I have all the anxieties today, but the feeling in my chest tells me I’m going to get through this… Then again it could be a heart attack.
